Cox Enterprises, a privately held communications and automotive services conglomerate, needed better visibility into energy consumption and pricing across more than 40,000 utility accounts and 300 providers. After relying on spreadsheets and manual data gathering, the company turned to Arcadia’s utility data collection and utility bill management capabilities to support its internal energy dashboard and sustainability reporting.

Arcadia provided Cox with a customizable data feed to collect, reconcile, analyze, and report on utility usage and costs across the enterprise. With Arcadia, Cox identified more than $43,000 in annual savings from closing zero-kWh accounts, found an additional $4,000 in rate savings, improved account inventory and reporting, and gained corporate-wide visibility into energy and carbon data to better manage procurement and sustainability goals.
