Case Study: RIP Association achieves streamlined application maintenance and ISO-ready documentation with ARCAD Software

GIE-RIP needed a solution to streamline all their application maintenance processes

RIP Association, which manages retirement contracts and operates an in-house IT system, faced growing complexity as its software and developer team expanded—creating challenges for frequent production changes, parallel development, and change traceability. To address these maintenance and governance issues, RIP Association turned to ARCAD Software and implemented the ARCAD‑Skipper suite (with ARCAD‑Deliver) to introduce structured change management and environment control on their OS/400 Power i systems.

ARCAD Software also deployed ARCAD‑Observer to automate technical documentation and application mining, giving RIP Association full traceability of modifications and synchronized documentation. The combined solution streamlined maintenance, improved developer collaboration and controls, and supported RIP Association’s successful ISO 9001 certification in March 2001, demonstrating clear process and compliance gains.
