Case Study: Banque Palatine achieves reduced downtime risk and eliminates out-of-hours work with ARCAD Software's DROPS

A ARCAD Software Case Study

Preview of the Banque Palatine Case Study

Banque Palatine reduces downtime risk and eliminates “Out-of-Hours” working, orchestrating Application Deployment across IBM i, AIX and z/OS with ARCAD’s DROPS

Banque Palatine, a BPCE group bank serving corporate and private clients, was running the SAB core banking system on IBM i and preparing a migration to a z/OS-based platform. BPCE-IT had been applying SAB UI updates manually on AIX/Windows during limited evening maintenance windows, creating long (up to 20-hour) out-of-hours deployments, high risk of human error and the need for a secure, automated multi-platform release orchestration solution. To address this, Banque Palatine selected ARCAD Software’s DROPS (ARCAD for DevOps).

ARCAD Software implemented DROPS to provide a single orchestration layer across IBM i, AIX and z/OS with automated CI/CD, in-sync emergency rollback, on-demand assembly of vendor deliverables and automated multi-environment deployments. The DROPS rollout eliminated evening work, greatly reduced deployment effort and manpower (manual processes that could take 20 hours were massively shortened), removed much of the human-error risk, stabilized production and future-proofed the bank’s DevOps pipeline.
