ARCAD Critical Data Management facilitates integration of banking activities for Palatine Bank

Banque Palatine, a national business and wealth-management bank with over 60 agencies, faced a critical systems-integration challenge when it expanded through acquisitions and adopted the SAB banking package. The bank’s legacy, manually maintained parameter tool proved costly and error-prone, and the urgent integration of Crédit Foncier de France (CFF)—adding more than 24,000 individual clients and 3,000 businesses—created tight deadlines and a need for reliable management of SAB parameter data. Banque Palatine adopted ARCAD Software’s Critical Data Management solution (ARCAD-Datachanger), alongside existing ARCAD tools used for configuration and deployment, to address this gap.

ARCAD Software implemented ARCAD-Datachanger between April and August 2008 to extract, normalize and manage SAB parameter files; the rollout captured 1,804 DCM data-type components from 440 parameter files and enabled direct access through SAB menus. The result: secure, auditable parameter management that let the bank deploy more than 25,000 CFF parameter changes to production in roughly 30 minutes, cut test-environment refresh time from several days to under one day, and significantly reduced manual errors—delivering the project on schedule and providing a scalable foundation for future SAB upgrades.
