Power Utility Company needed a business case to prioritize and finance system changes required to comply with the 2011 Settlement System Code in Alberta’s deregulated utility sector, including a high‑level design and scoping across multiple legacy applications. ARC Business Solutions delivered a comprehensive engagement that reviewed as‑is and to‑be processes, performed gap analysis, identified data owners and impacted transactions, and produced a business requirements document, data dictionary, high‑level solution design and revised logical data model, plus inputs to the project plan. The ARC Business Solutions deliverables provided clear estimates of effort, cost, timelines and required team size, were used in corporate approval decisions, and served as the basis for an RFP to the vendor community to meet the regulated deadline.
