TreeHouse Foods’ American Italian Pasta Company (AIPC), which produces over 2 million pounds of pasta per day, was hampered by product and customer data scattered across spreadsheets, PDFs and disparate databases. That fragmentation made it slow and laborious to find up-to-date formulations, specifications, certifications and audit-ready reports, creating bottlenecks for quality, R&D, regulatory and other teams.

Working with PSC, AIPC implemented Aras Innovator, a centralized web-based PLM that converted and connected disparate documents into a single master database. The change cut database management and information-request time by about 50% overall, delivered a 60% reduction in product information requests (spec changeovers fell from 11 hours to under 2), a 40% drop in marketing data time, eliminated hours of report preparation, sped reporting to minutes, increased company-wide adoption, and boosted productivity and employee satisfaction.
