Deutsche Blisterunion (DBU) is a Germany-wide provider of patient-specific blistered medication that faced a time-consuming, paper-based process for documenting and approving manufacturing protocols. With Qualified Persons located across the country and a legal requirement to retain signed protocols for ten years, DBU needed a digitally controlled, compliant way to manage reviews, electronic signatures and archives.

DBU implemented Aras Innovator together with DataSquare’s Signature Connector to automate routing, verification and qualified electronic signing (smart-card + PIN) of protocols.
