xarvio™ Digital Farming, a division of BASF, is a global crop management solution provider with more than 17,000 customers in over 100 countries. The team needed more accurate infield weather data to improve spray timing recommendations in its FIELD MANAGER app, since satellite and remote-weather estimates could miss local microclimate conditions and lead to mistimed, costly, and less effective applications.

Arable deployed Mark devices across more than 100 wheat fields in Europe, with additional trials in Argentina and Brazil, and integrated real-time field data into xarvio™ FIELD MANAGER via the Arable API. The solution improved spray timing by an average of 12 days, reduced spray use by more than 30%, saved growers about $75 per hectare, and helped drive a 200% increase in FIELD MANAGER engagement, with strong user satisfaction and continued adoption.
