A Aquatic Informatics Case Study
The City of Kelowna, a long-time user of Aquatic Informatics' WaterTrax platform, faced a challenge in efficiently reporting compliance data to the Ministry of Environment. This required manually maintaining a secondary database outside of WaterTrax, a weekly process that took a senior lab technician an average of two hours to complete, check, and submit.
Working with the City, Aquatic Informatics developed an electronic EMS reporting tool within WaterTrax to automate the process. The solution features pre-configured templates that generate compliant reports in seconds, eliminating data entry errors and a secondary database. This saved the City significant time and resources, reducing report generation from hours to just minutes per week.
