Facing the need to transmit live sports (including NFL coverage) with extreme, unrestricted bandwidth and rock‑solid uptime, Tv2Go engaged Aptum for a connectivity solution to meet its mission‑critical broadcasting requirements.
Aptum implemented a managed wavelength connectivity solution using WDM to mimic an OC‑48, connecting Tv2Go to its New York program suppliers and supporting up to eight simultaneous HD programs. The Aptum service — delivered with reliability guarantees — enabled Tv2Go to reliably distribute live HD events (including the 2010–11 NFL season) to European and Asian audiences while meeting stringent bandwidth and uptime targets.
