How PCMA developed the Award Form Builder to efficiently create & track nominations to award its members

The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), a Chicago-based organization representing 6,500 meeting industry professionals, faced a recurring administrative burden: dozens of awards, grants, scholarships and board nominations throughout the year required many distinct nomination and application forms, frequent edits, and timely tracking—creating heavy dependence on IT and manual processes.

PCMA built an Award Form Builder inside Aptify that supports nomination, application, reference and general-purpose forms, pushes form widgets to the Sitefinity website, creates Aptify records, sends notifications, and includes a voting form with weighted scoring. The result: staff can create and publish forms on the fly without IT, collect and report on submissions easily, and the tool has been adopted by PCMA chapters—streamlining the awards process and improving tracking and communication.
