Everton FC wanted to identify supporter groups and season ticket holder retention risks in order to sell out Goodison Park for the 2017/2018 season. Working with vendor Apteco and its FastStats platform, the club aimed to gain clearer insight into fan behavior, churn risk, and the factors influencing renewals.

Apteco implemented FastStats, along with Geo and modelling capabilities, to create a single customer view, analyze churn risk, segment fans by attitudes and behavior, and personalize marketing. The results included a 16% increase in retention of young fans, 85% of high-risk fans renewed, £300k in additional revenue from personalized marketing, and a record 94% overall retention rate.
