RSPB, the UK’s largest nature conservation charity, wanted to mobilise public support for its “Vote for Bob” campaign and keep nature high on the political agenda during the election. Working with Apteco, RSPB needed a way to send timely, relevant communications at scale while handling complex audience targeting and avoiding the time and error risk of manually managing many message variants.
Using Apteco FastStats and PeopleStage, RSPB created automated, highly personalised follow-up communications, including a single email with more than 650 variations and over 50,000 messages sent to politicians. Apteco’s selection and automation capabilities saved hundreds of hours, reduced the risk of errors, improved supporter experience through greater personalisation, and even enabled weekend and holiday sends that RSPB had not previously been able to run.
