Froster Leverages Aptean to Optimize Logistics in the Frozen Foods Market

Froster is a Netherlands-based logistics platform for frozen foods that grew from a trading company into a 150-employee operation with nearly 25,000 pallet capacity and a 35-truck fleet. Rapid expansion and a widening product range exposed limitations in their legacy systems and an in-house IT approach, leaving them without the functionality and support needed to align procurement, sales and complex logistics processes.

Froster implemented Aptean Food & Beverage ERP on Microsoft Dynamics and integrated it with a new Warehouse Management System, digitalized transport with onboard GPS and consignment-note handling, and centralized financial and stock controls. The rollout was smooth, improved process alignment, temperature tracking and bookkeeping, reduced manual work and positioned Froster to scale further (including plans to triple capacity), while enabling ongoing automation of invoicing and logistics operations.
