Royal Mail Group needed a single, flexible routing and scheduling system to support the very different distribution demands of Parcelforce Worldwide, Royal Mail and the Post Office network. Aptean Routing & Scheduling Paragon Edition was deployed to update routes for Parcelforce depots, delivering street‑level, restriction‑aware plans and clear map displays for drivers. One depot’s 4,000 deliveries were reviewed in a single day (a task that formerly took 4–6 weeks), and Royal Mail is rolling out 13 Paragon systems to produce regular plans for over 2,000 vehicles across 51 depots, significantly improving planning speed and operational efficiency.
