Croatia’s largest food & retail organisation chooses Paragon

Agrokor Group, Croatia’s largest food and retail organisation, faced the challenge of replacing manual, fragmented transport planning across its supermarket and food businesses (including Konzum) to improve efficiency, customer service and environmental performance. To address this, they selected Aptean Routing & Scheduling Paragon Edition (Paragon) to centralize and standardize routing and scheduling across their complex, multi‑depot operations.

Aptean Routing & Scheduling Paragon Edition implemented Paragon transport planning software (including Paragon Multi Depot and map‑based routing) integrated with Agrokor’s Infor System21 ERP to automate planning, model delivery scenarios and visualise loads. The solution now routes more than 1,500 orders a day to around 700 stores from multiple distribution centres, standardises planning across Agrokor’s businesses (Konzum, PIK and Zvijezda) and delivered measurable benefits: reduced transport costs, improved environmental performance, enhanced customer service and greater operational efficiency and visibility.
