A.F. Blakemore Logistics, a family-owned grocery distributor serving 978 SPAR stores across England and Wales, faced highly variable delivery volumes (up to 30% week-to-week) and the inefficiencies of fixed-route planning. To modernise its operations it turned to Aptean Routing & Scheduling Paragon Edition, extending Paragon’s transport optimisation from fixed routes to full dynamic daily route optimisation and route execution.

Using Aptean Routing & Scheduling Paragon Edition together with Paragon Route Execution (integrated with Blue Tree Systems R:COM and Tachomaster Link), the vendor enabled live ETAs, driver/vehicle matching and automatic tachograph uploads.
