Janome America, the North American subsidiary of global sewing machine leader Janome, needed to consolidate multiple subsidiaries, improve operational efficiency, and support growing order volumes across retail and online channels. To address these challenges, the company deployed Aptean Distribution ERP (Apprise ERP), which became the backbone for managing its US operations and later expanded to Canada and Australia.

With Aptean Distribution ERP, Janome America unified three US subsidiaries on one database, streamlined credit and collections, improved warehouse and inventory accuracy, and enabled EDI compliance that helped win deals with Overstock and Target.com. The solution also reduced IT and warehouse resource needs, automated processes, and increased visibility across the business, allowing a two-person team to manage about 4,000 orders a month for roughly 850 customers.
