CapstanAG, a Topeka-based manufacturer of precision agricultural application systems, outgrew an accounting-focused ERP after ten years and needed a manufacturing‑centric, integrated solution that supported remote field teams. To address that need they moved to a cloud ERP and began implementing Aptean CRM’s OnContact solution to add CRM capabilities for their traveling sales force.
Aptean CRM supported a cloud deployment and onsite go‑live assistance, delivering seamless integration between financials, manufacturing, inventory and customer orders. The implementation improved user efficiency, gave roughly 20 remote users easier access to live data, enhanced inventory visibility and streamlined demand flow between purchasing and production; the ERP went live in January 2019 and the Aptean CRM OnContact rollout was scheduled to follow, enabling better field sales management.
