Klauer Manufacturing Company, a family-owned sheet metal building products leader since 1870, faced complexity from supplying over 300 colors across many SKUs and an excessive number of part BOMs, while needing easy, version-safe access to their ERP data. To address those challenges they turned to Aptean CRM (WorkWise RB-ERP), seeking an on-premise solution that allowed direct SQL access and flexibility for special functions without risky vendor-specific modifications.

Aptean CRM implemented WorkWise RB-ERP along with eProduction and the RB-ERP workbenches, enabling Klauer to consolidate BOMs by creating one base SKU and copying color variants, eliminate paper and push dispatching to the shop floor, and provide real-time status and interaction history. The result was markedly improved shop-floor efficiency, immediate availability of information, and the virtual elimination of posting errors—demonstrable reductions in manual posting delays and error rates—all enabled by Aptean CRM.
