Alto-Shaam uses the RB-ERP Configurator to Improve Operations

Alto-Shaam, a build-to-order manufacturer of commercial ovens, rotisseries, fryers and other heated foodservice equipment, faced excessive waste and long cycle times across inside sales, product engineering, production planning and costing. To streamline its configure-to-order (CTO) processes and free engineering capacity for new product development, Alto-Shaam engaged Aptean CRM and implemented the RB-ERP configurator.

Aptean CRM worked with Alto-Shaam’s cross-functional Lean Office team to deploy the RB-ERP configurator, providing a flexible, easy-to-use product configuration solution. The project reduced engineering time per order, trimmed waste in sales, planning and costing, and achieved a measurable payback in nine months after deployment across four product lines — enabling faster custom orders and reinvestment in new product development.
