Coldwell Banker, a leading residential and commercial real estate firm headquartered in Madison, New Jersey with 3,300 offices across 50 countries, needed an eLearning solution to boost managers’ performance and productivity without disrupting the firm’s effective informal learning culture.

Aptara built the Managing Broker Academy (MBA) Portal, a scalable 3-D virtual-world GUI that simulates a Coldwell Banker office with virtual rooms, counselors, planning tools and on-demand resources covering productivity, leadership, recruiting, training and business planning. The portal combines blogs, real-time news, RSS, self-paced and LMS-linked courses, community forums and streaming media; usage metrics and user feedback showed it made learning more accessible, personalized and engaging.
