Cloud Services Providing Company, working with Apstra and partners Awnix and Dell EMC, needed a secure, customized on-premise cloud for a Tier 1 service provider. The main challenges were maintaining operational visibility, enforcing network control, supporting delegated administration, and scaling to handle demanding workloads such as IoT, smart city, and cybersecurity applications.

Apstra implemented its AOS intent-based networking software alongside Awnix ARC and Dell EMC Z9100 open networking switches with OPX to create a centralized, automated leaf-spine cloud network. The solution improved control, auditability, security, and ease of management while reducing complexity and cost, delivering 200Gb/s of bandwidth to each cloud hypervisor and up to 6.4Tb/s of non-blocking switching capacity per switch.
