Faith Promise Church is a multisite Tennessee congregation that grew from a 350-person hotel service in 1995 to an average attendance of over 4,200. As the church expanded, its existing payroll vendor proved clunky and hard for hourly staff to use, and the church needed a cloud-based, church-friendly payroll system that could handle unique items like minister housing allowances, integrate with accounting, provide customizable reporting, offer a single point of customer contact, and scale with growth.

In October 2010 Faith Promise implemented APS OnLine Payroll, Time & Attendance and HR. APS provided a dedicated account manager, flexible reporting with import/export to the church accounting system, centralized campus reporting, and self-service online time-off and time-entry tools. The new solution streamlined processes, saved staff time and money, supported continued expansion, and has continued to receive enhancements based on the church’s needs.
