CCS Delivers Fast & Reliable PDF Rendering Using Apryse SDK

Construction Computer Software (CCS) faced a challenge with its free quantity takeoff add-on for its Candy estimating software. Users began experiencing application crashes and slow load times when processing the increasingly large and complex PDF drawings generated by new CAD tools. This reliability issue led to customer dissatisfaction and gave competitors an opportunity, prompting CCS to seek a new solution from a PDF SDK vendor.

CCS implemented the Apryse SDK, which was tested against 190 problematic drawings and proved to be the only solution that could open all files without memory issues or quality-reducing shortcuts. The Apryse solution ensured fast and reliable PDF rendering, eliminating the technical support burden and protecting CCS's reputation. Furthermore, Apryse has enabled future development, including plans for a browser-based takeoff feature using the Apryse WebViewer.
