Apromore worked with Australian Superannuation Fund Company, one of Australia’s largest and oldest super funds, to analyze and improve its claims process. The fund wanted to better understand bottlenecks, rework, compliance with its as-is process model, data quality, and how quickly process mining could reveal inefficiencies in a highly complex, member-focused operation.

Using Apromore’s process mining platform with support from Leonardo, the team analyzed more than 630,000 transaction records from four IT systems and identified major variation in the claims process, including rework loops and noncompliant cases. Apromore helped the fund reduce rework and processing costs, achieve over AUD 150,000 in savings in three months, and estimate annual ROI of more than AUD 600,000, while making the discovery-to-improvement cycle 2.6 times faster.
