A Apriorit Case Study
Corporate Security Monitoring System Provider Company engaged Apriorit to extend a successful remote computer investigation product into a real-time, client‑server multiagent corporate security monitoring system. The challenge was to design a scalable, resilient architecture and supporting modules able to monitor diverse user activities across up to 100,000 simultaneous agents, integrate 200+ features, and solve auxiliary tasks such as updates, compatibility, search, management and exhaustive QA for a large distributed system.
Apriorit formed a dedicated team (initially 6 developers and 3 testers, later expanded) and delivered a flexible, minimal‑connectivity architecture plus features like content‑based file classification, downloading locked large files for integrity, comprehensive file‑operation monitoring, automatic agent updates and anti‑deletion protections, and offline handling. Apriorit’s QA introduced Impact Analysis to control regressions; the first market‑ready version was completed in one year, enabling limited releases for fast customer feedback, driving market success, and resulting in a product designed for very large deployments while now being maintained by a 3‑person support team.
