Meridian Credit Union, Ontario’s largest credit union and the third largest in Canada, reevaluated its board portal after nearly a decade using Aprio. As board materials grew—single meetings could exceed 500 pages—Meridian needed modern board technology that preserved strong data security, supported offline preparation, faster access and efficient meeting preparation while maintaining the support they relied on from Aprio.
Aprio worked with Meridian to evolve how they use the Aprio board portal: uploading individual reports with agenda quick-links, enabling rapid search, providing offline access via the Aprio tablet app, streamlining calendar booking with Aprio’s survey tool, simplifying member management, and offering remote-wipe security. The result was faster board updates and searches, smoother scheduling, more prepared and engaged directors, and improved board conversations—confirming Aprio remained the best fit for Meridian.
