LPL Financial, the largest independent broker-dealer in the United States, needed a better way to help its 30,000 users streamline client onboarding and reduce the paperwork and back-office work that kept advisors from spending more time with investors. To address this challenge, LPL partnered with Appway and used the Appway Platform to support its ClientWorks digital experience for financial advisors and staff.

Appway implemented an end-to-end client lifecycle management solution with streamlined onboarding, e-signature capabilities, selective disclosure, edit checks, and integrations with more than nine external and proprietary systems. The result was a faster, more accurate process that improved productivity and compliance, with more than 22,500 users opening new accounts on Appway by December 2016 and additional account transfer tools delivered in 2017.
