Canadian Helicopters Limited, a major helicopter operator, faced challenges creating a mobile application to collect government-mandated forms in remote areas with no connectivity. Their initial attempt to build an offline-capable solution for even a single form proved to be too heavy-duty. Appwapp was engaged to address this critical need for a more effective digital process.

Appwapp proposed and developed a proof of concept using Progressive Web App (PWA) technology, which allowed for seamless offline data collection and synchronization when connectivity was restored. The solution was designed to limit impact on the client's existing legacy codebase and was supported by technical training for the development team. This approach successfully demonstrated a viable path to digitizing hundreds of forms, enhancing data reliability and efficiency for the pilots.
