Metal Promo, an Austin-based maker of custom metal goods (lapel pins, coins, medals, business cards and other promotional items), faced fragmented customer requests, unorganized data, manual payment delays and unsecured access that made tracking orders and changes difficult. To address these issues, they implemented Apptivo’s CRM/ERP platform and apps to centralize customer records and workflow management.

Apptivo delivered a tailored solution using Contacts, Customers, Work Orders and Financials apps, plus a customized web form integrated with Metal Promo’s site and payment gateways (PayPal, Authorize.net, Zipmark). As a result, Apptivo enabled role-based data access, drastically reduced time to find and manage customer data, automated change-request workflows, and added online payments that flow automatically into Apptivo Financials—eliminating manual entry errors and improving order visibility.
