IRI, an American market research company focused on the consumer packaged goods industry, was struggling with fragmented customer data, untracked opportunities, and a lack of visibility into a global sales pipeline. Sales activity and conversation logs were not consistently captured, causing missed follow-ups and knowledge loss. To address these challenges, IRI adopted Apptivo’s CRM solution, using apps such as Contacts, Opportunity, and Employee.
Apptivo implemented its CRM suite along with Gmail and calendar integrations and the Apptivo iPad app so IRI could log calls, meetings and notes, track opportunities by stage, and run sales and performance reports. As a result, IRI achieved transparent pipeline visibility, faster lead follow-up and deal closure, reduced handoff-related knowledge loss, and the ability to analyze won/lost reasons and sales activity metrics to refine strategy.
