Bloomberg's New Economy Forum required software to power interactive video installations and touch-screen data visualizations for its inaugural event. The challenge, undertaken by Apptension, involved synchronizing multiple displays, rendering custom maps, and ensuring optimal performance on specific hardware like the Microsoft Surface Hub, all while collaborating across time zones with design firm Schema.

Apptension developed the solution using React, Datamaps, D3, and PIXI libraries, creating a platform optimized for Internet Explorer. They utilized Octopus and Millumin2 software to trigger and display synchronized video content across custom pillars. Apptension provided on-the-ground support during the event in Singapore, resulting in a successful and immersive user experience that powered the major global forum.
