A large pharmaceutical company partnered with Appspace to help launch a new headquarters designed for a hybrid workforce of 9,000 employees. The customer wanted to create “the healthiest building in the world” with safe, simple, seamless workplace experiences, including indoor air quality monitoring, room and desk booking, and better communications.

Appspace, working with Metrikus, implemented a custom digital signage and space reservation solution that displayed meeting room CO2 levels and automatically alerted employees when air quality changed. Through APIs and Appspace Broadcasts, rooms with elevated CO2 were marked unavailable and users were prompted to leave and book another room, helping the company improve workplace safety, support ESG goals, and prepare to roll the integration out across global offices for 120,000 staff.
