Florida Atlantic University's digital signage upgrade: Simplified communication, heightened engagement

Florida Atlantic University (FAU), a large multi-campus university in Florida, needed a simpler way to manage digital signage and campus communications. Its previous system was difficult to use, required dedicated PCs for every sign, and couldn’t integrate cleanly with the university’s emergency broadcast system. As costs rose, FAU turned to Appspace for a cloud-based digital signage and workplace communications solution.

Appspace implemented an intuitive digital signage platform with streamlined content creation, granular user controls, and seamless emergency broadcast integration. The results were strong: FAU now has 11 user groups, 65 active users, and more than 170 devices, while emergency alerts can be pushed instantly across displays. Training time dropped from hours to just 15 minutes, dedicated signage PCs were eliminated, and content deployment became much faster.
