Creating a smarter workplace experience for a global professional services firm

XY Sense, a global professional services firm, set out to create an agile, sustainable workplace that could support hybrid work across its offices. They partnered with Appspace, using its workplace experience platform, including Digital Signage, Employee App, Visitor Management, and space management tools, to build a smarter office blueprint for global rollout.

Appspace implemented custom integrations with XY Sense occupancy sensors, room booking workflows, and automated visitor management, helping auto-release no-show meeting rooms, manage desk power through RFID check-ins, and speed up entry with QR code-enabled security gates. The result was a more friction-free workplace with better meeting room utilization, reduced unnecessary energy use, and improved capacity management, with the first smart building opening in 2022 and later expanding to a site with 1,800 workspaces for 5,500 employees.
