This User's Mobile Apps are Helping Produce Safe and Reliable Farm Products

Zen-Noh Hay, Inc., a hay processing and farm-services company in Pasco, WA, aims to deliver safe, reliable, high-quality domestic farm products. The operations team faced antiquated, paper-based processes for tracking inventory transfers and entering customer purchase agreements, which required manual re-entry into computers and introduced delays and potential errors.

Operations Assistant Zane Schwendiman built mobile apps using AppSheet (found via Smartsheet) to replace paper workflows. The apps deliver near–real-time visibility into inventory movement and new purchases, work offline in areas with poor connectivity, eliminate manual data entry and related errors, and have already prompted further app development to track sales agreements and improve overall efficiency.
