Ravindra Energy Limited, led in this project by Mumbai-based project manager Munjal Savla, installs subsidized solar-powered irrigation pumps for remote small farms. Managing engineers and contractors spread across Maharashtra was difficult: field reports, equipment tracking, billing, and payments arrived sporadically via instant messaging, leaving Munjal without a reliable, scalable way to monitor progress from the office.

Munjal built a no-code mobile app with Google Cloud’s AppSheet that connects to Excel files on OneDrive, works offline for spotty connectivity, and integrates with existing systems. Rolled out in February 2020, the app delivers real-time, crystal-clear field data, simplified reporting and equipment tracking, rapid iteration of workflows, and strong adoption by field teams—making project management faster and more transparent.
