Real Estate Company Transforms Operations with Custom Management Apps

Benchmarq Homes, a Pennsylvania real estate firm that buys and sells foreclosed properties across 15 counties, struggled with fragmented processes and no centralized data system. With each employee using their own methods, the company lost about $500,000 on 12 properties and was holding assets an average of 300 days, creating high carrying costs and missed opportunities.

The team built a custom no-code app with AppSheet that integrates with Google Sheets, uses slices and security filters to present personalized, mobile-friendly views, and was optimized with AppSheet’s Performance Profiler. The app standardized workflows, sped up property turnover from roughly 18–20 months to 4–5 months on average, reduced carrying costs, improved productivity and profits, and was quickly adopted by staff.
