Mobile Apps Keep I-care ‘Machine’ Running Smoothly

I-care Group is a Belgium‑based industrial services company with about 350 employees—most of them field engineers who perform vibration, infrared, ultrasound and other machine health measurements worldwide. Their challenge was inefficient, paper‑based and fragmented digital workflows: technicians spent time copying notes into Excel and Word, wrestled with bulky device databases, and had trouble accessing schedules and reliable field data.

A reliability engineer used AppSheet’s no‑code platform to build 10–15 mobile apps (including a vibration analysis app and an office attendance/safety app) that capture measurements, photos with annotations, locations, schedules and generate reports. A prototype was delivered within months, and pilot users reported major time savings, the ability to inspect more equipment per day, reduced manual data entry and improved compliance; the vibration app is scaling to 50–100 users and more apps are in development.
