Magic Moment Photography is a 20-year-old, family-run photography business serving schools, sports teams and events. When Alex Beard returned to the company as Director of Research and Design, deliveries and shoot info were being tracked in notebooks, leading to lost orders, disorganization and time-consuming data entry — the team needed a quick, low-cost, “bullet-proof” tracking solution.

Alex built two apps with AppSheet — one for deliveries and one for candid shoots — to automate tracking and share data company-wide. The apps let staff see tasks and whereabouts, plan shoots more efficiently, and virtually eliminate lost products; they’re simple enough that even Alex’s nontechnical father uses the delivery app daily on his iPad.
