KIPP Albany Public Schools moved to find a better way to manage student behavior points and everyday operations after relying on paper rosters and manual data entry that caused delays, lost IDs, and extra work for teachers and staff. CIO Preston Moore needed a simple, Google-friendly solution to streamline recordkeeping across multiple classrooms and schools.

Using AppSheet, Moore built a suite of mobile apps — paycheck rosters, food-service POS with QR IDs, call logging, morning attendance, a student directory, alerts, and tech inventory — that integrate with Google Sheets and leverage Expressions to keep data centralized and up to date. The apps digitized workflows, enabled real-time reporting and communications, improved accountability and safety, reduced lost items and paperwork, and saved substantial staff time across the district.
