AppSheet worked with East Lake High School’s FIRST Robotics team, which faced a heavy scouting burden: up to 600–1,000 pieces of paper per event, inconsistent data from high student turnover, limited time from a 40-person club, and prior failed attempts at a cross-device app. The team needed a reliable, easy-to-use way to capture and centralize robot and match data without adding ongoing development overhead.

Using AppSheet, a student leader built a fully functional scouting app in a few weeks that runs offline, supports all devices, and centralizes data. The app eliminated piles of paper, cut costs, saved daily development and data-entry time, improved continuity across team turnover, and created a shareable, data-driven advantage for future competitions.
