Brodsky Construction is a Saskatoon-based Canadian earth-moving contractor with about 20 seasonal employees that builds dams, roads, drainage works and other civil projects. The company struggled with paper-based field reporting and safety documentation—creating a time-consuming administrative burden—and off-the-shelf apps lacked the customization they needed.

Business manager John Brodsky built a custom AppSheet app that integrates directly with Google Sheets to digitize documentation, timecards, payroll and safety materials. The app is used company-wide, dramatically reduced admin time and costs (avoiding a new hire and cutting payroll processing from a day to a few clicks), and has led to pilot app projects with contractors and plans for additional internal apps.
