How Ki Insurance Built a Fully Digital Lloyd’s of London Syndicate with Google Cloud

Ki Insurance worked with Appsbroker to modernize trading for Lloyd’s of London by moving away from a manual, document-driven insurance process. The challenge was to create a digital, scalable way to serve brokers faster and improve client service, using Google Cloud Platform and related services to support the new broker portal.

Appsbroker built a custom broker application on Google Cloud that enabled real-time risk capacity checks and instant algorithmic underwriting, simplifying the broker experience and automating quote generation. The solution cut transaction times from months to minutes and helped Ki Insurance become a first mover in digital trading for Lloyd’s, supporting its growth as it raised $500m from Blackstone and Fairfax in 2020.
