Schurter AG, a manufacturer of electronic components, needed to create a software ecosystem for its Smart Connector hardware to make devices IoT-capable and provide remote control and power consumption monitoring. They partnered with the vendor Apps with love to develop the necessary user-facing applications and integrate the various system components.

Apps with love designed and developed native iOS and Android apps along with a configurable web dashboard, using a step-by-step approach with prototypes to validate technical feasibility and user experience. The solution successfully created a marketable ecosystem, enabling users to remotely monitor and control devices. The vendor also provided UX writing to ensure the interface texts were clear and helpful, improving the user onboarding process.
