Covenant Transportation Group uses Approyo and SAP HANA to power predictive analytics for 3,500 drivers

Covenant Transportation Group (CTG), a top 50 for-hire trucking carrier, faced the challenge of leveraging modern predictive analytics on top of its outdated technology systems, some of which were decades old. To compete effectively, CTG selected the SAP Predictive Analytics package and sought a powerful database solution to get the most out of the software, leading them to partner with vendor Approyo.

Approyo implemented SAP HANA to power CTG's analytics initiative. By harnessing the in-memory database, Approyo enabled CTG to create one-of-a-kind predictive analysis using weather, driver, and routing data. This allowed CTG to optimally match drivers to freight, resulting in safer, more efficient, and happier operations.
