Personalizing the patient experience for a more streamlined healthcare customer experience

ZNA, one of the largest hospital networks in Belgium’s Flemish region, wanted to modernize its website and make navigation easier for patients and visitors. Because not every hospital within the network offers the same departments, users often struggled to tell whether they were browsing ZNA-wide or hospital-specific content. ZNA worked with Appnovation to address these challenges through a new website experience.

Appnovation designed, developed, and themed the site, adding search, customization, doctor information integration, and job openings database integration. Appnovation also automated and filtered the left navigation menu to show only relevant links and kept the header visually consistent across pages so users could easily understand where they were in the site. The result was a more streamlined, personalized healthcare experience with clearer navigation and better content discoverability.
