Groen, the Flemish Greens, needed to launch a new, improved website in time for the Belgian general elections, with a mobile-first, accessible experience that would better engage visitors and clearly communicate the party’s impact. The challenge was to create an innovative corporate site that was responsive, user-focused, and designed to drive conversion and engagement across 200+ local groups.

Appnovation partnered with Groen’s design team to design and build the site using a mobile-first, agile approach and design systems. Appnovation created the sitemap, validated the structure through card sorting, developed wireframes and an interactive prototype, and tested it with target users to refine the experience. The result was a fully responsive digital platform with a fresh look and stronger usability, helping Groen deliver an accessible election website on time with improved engagement potential.
