Case Study: BlackBerry achieves a more secure, reliable Jira environment with Appnovation

BlackBerry consolidates 4 Jira instances with Appnovation to improve security and cut costs

The customer, BlackBerry, faced significant challenges with its fragmented and outdated self-hosted Jira server instances. These highly customized systems created security risks, operational inefficiencies, and high maintenance efforts. The vendor, Appnovation, was engaged to address these issues.

Appnovation analyzed the infrastructure and executed a comprehensive migration, consolidating four Jira instances into the Long-Term Support version of Jira Data Center. This solution from Appnovation improved system reliability, security, and compliance. The migration also reduced costs, simplified operations, and enhanced overall team productivity for BlackBerry.
